May 21, Seattle: Public Hearing about EPA greenhouse gas regulation

A fascinating oppportunity: In April, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a finding that greenhouse gases pose a threat to human health and welfare. This is widely seen as a first step in beginning to regulate global warming pollution. The EPA is now seeking public input on their decision.
On May 21st, Seattle will host one of only two EPA public hearings in the entire country. There's also going to be a big rally outside at noon. It's all happening at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center, 2211 Alaskan Way (Pier 66).
