The Eastern Shore
At our Virginia Coast Reserve, volunteers are helping restore eelgrass that was virtually wiped out in the early 1930s.

Bolling Branch
Landowners worked to restore more than a mile of Bolling Branch and 2,300 additional feet of tributary streams that flow through their property in an effort to improve water quality for the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

The Conservancy is working with partners to preserve water quality and globally important habitat in the Clinch River and its key tributaries. Learn more about the Clinch's special lands, waters and wildlife.

In October, the Conservancy announced the recent acquisition along Indian Creek that will help the imperiled tan riffleshell mussel and advance plans for a new trail in the Clinch Valley.
