More Information:
The Conservancy works in Utah, all 50 states, and over 30 countries to preserve biodiversity by protecting critical habitats, combating climate change, and conserving our water resources in oceans, lakes and rivers. In Utah, where water is scarce, this means working to protect major water resources like the Colorado River, Bear River and the Great Salt Lake. For featured guest Alexandra Cousteau, this means traveling the globe to raise awareness of the most critical water issues of our time.
On Expedition: Blue Planet, Alexandra moves beyond oceans to chronicle the interconnectivity of water across the globe. Traveling across 5 continents in 100 days, Alexandra discovers how individuals are part of the larger, universal story of our interdependent, global water ecosystem. By connecting these stories with local issues, she creates a new vision for what it means to live in a world where water is our most precious resource.
