Date/Time:
Saturday, May 9, from 9 am to 12 pm
    Bird Walk - 8 am
    Birding 101 Workshop - 1 pm

Overview:
Join us to officially re-open the Scott M. Matheson Wetlands Preserve. Closed due to fire damage, the preserve’s visitor structures have been restored just in time for spring, and we want you to celebrate with us!

Kids and adults will enjoy a suite of activities, including expert-led site tours, live birds, hands-on discovery games and educational displays.

In addition, join acclaimed birder Bill Fenimore at 8 am for a guided bird walk in the preserve and learn the basics of birding at the Birding 101 Workshop at 1 pm.*

*Registration/Fee:
The celebration is free and open to the public. However, space is limited and reservations are required for the bird walk and birding workshop with Bill Fenimore. Please contact Linda Whitham at (435) 259-4629 or lwhitham@tnc.org or Heidi Nedreberg at (801) 238-2339 or hnedreberg@tnc.org.
