Independence Creek Preserve open preserve weekend

Arrive after 5 pm Friday and depart by noon Sunday

The public is invited to explore Independence Creek Preserve -- a veritable West Texas desert oasis -- during the weekend of July 26. Camping will be permitted in designated areas. No pets or horses allowed. Hiking, swimming, wading in the creek, catch and release fishing, birding, and other outdoor activities will be permitted.
