NANCY PARSONS

Director of Philanthropy

Nancy holds a B.A. in English from St. Bonaventure University, New York and a Masters in English Language Arts from Syracuse University. She has over 20 years of experience in not-for-profit management and fund-raising. She managed the Syracuse Pulp and Paper Foundation at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, a scholarship foundation supported by industry and alumni. Before joining the Conservancy she was the director of development at the College of Natural Resources at Virginia Tech.

As Director of Philanthropy, she is responsible for the fundraising program in South Carolina. She works with donors on current as well as planned gifts and manages all aspects of the capital campaign
