LAURA MOSES

Conservation Program Coordinator

A native of Sumter, SC and a lifelong environmentalist, Laura holds a Bachelor’s in French from Davidson College and a Master’s in French from Middlebury College. She has lived in Charleston since 1981, except for five years in Cambridge, MA where she worked in the Office of the Arts at MIT. Laura has had careers in several fields, including photography, language teaching, and book editing. She is active locally with Sierra Club, the Charleston Natural History Society, the SC Native Plant Society, and the Coastal Conservation League.

Laura joined the staff of The Nature Conservancy’s Charleston office in 2005 as Conservation Coordinator. As a member of the Land Protection team, she is responsible for management of the conservation project database, as well as general administration of the Charleston office.
