Monday         9:00am  

Block Island: a Natural Introduction. An adventure in Rodman’s Hollow that is fun and educational. Meet at the top of Black Rock Road, on Cooneymus Road.

 

Tuesday           9:00am 

 

Marsh-mucking for kids.

Crabs, fish and a lot more! Meet at Andy’s Way, off Corn Neck Road. (Parents must attend)

 

Wednesday           9:00am  

Unique Upland Scavenger Hunt. Kids locate all sorts of species special to Block Island.

Meet at the Hodge Family Wildlife Preserve. From Town take Corn Neck Road for three miles. Parking lot is on left through gap in stone wall. (Parents must attend)

 

 

 

 

 

Thursday               8:00am 

An Introduction to Block Island Birds.

Meet at the first Sachem Pond pull off, close to the end of Corn Neck Road.

Thursday                9:00am

Sachem Pond and Cow Cove Scavenger Hunt.

For kids and their parents. Meet at Settler’s Rock, at the end of Corn Neck Road. (Parents must attend)  

 

Friday                   9:00am

 

 

Fitness, Flora and Fauna.

 

 

 

 

 

A brisk 5 mile walk with brief educational stops at each of the four preserves visited.

Meet at Fresh Pond Greenway marker on Lakeside Drive.
