The chapter is delighted to welcome a new staff member to the Tulsa office. Anndrea Navesky has begun work as an aquatic planning research assistant, helping Ellen Tejan with several watershed-related projects. Anndrea's position is a temporary one, funded by a grant from the Oklahoma Conservation Commission. Her primary responsibility will be to help complete an evaluation and prioritization of all of the aquatic portfolio sites in the state, leading to a list of our most important aquatic resource sites for conservation work. The list will be used by TNC to direct our efforts in the future and as well as by other conservation organizations in the state.

Anndrea obtained her B.S. degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. She has worked previously as a fisheries technician and intern with the Southeast Fisheries Division of ODWC and at a fish hatchery.

We are pleased to have Anndrea as part of our team!
