Overview:
Don’t miss this opportunity to help preserve a registered National Natural Landmark. The Edge of Appalachia Preserve is one of the most biologically diverse collections of natural systems in the Midwestern U. S., encompassing rugged woodland, prairie openings, waterfalls, giant promontories and clear streams. On this project day we will clear downed trees, install water bars and trim brush from the 2.5 mile Wilderness Preserve Trail. Please bring loppers and hand pruners, all other equipment will be provided by the preserve.
