Phalaris Control

Date/Time:
Saturday, June 21st, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Overview:
Join us as we work to control Phalaris (reed canary grass) in the fens surrounding the beautiful Frame Lake. We will apply herbicide via backpack sprayers or hand-wicking. While you are enjoying the ten minute hike to the project site, remember that you are on a buried preglacial valley that was filled with 400-500 feet of glacial material during the advances of the Wisconsian Glacier. By participating in this project, you are helping to preserve a piece of our natural history. Sign-up today and we’ll see you there!
