Buckthorn Control

Date/Time:
Saturday, June 28th, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Overview:
We will head into this 1000+ acre preserve on a mission to seek, find, and remove buckthorn. Buckthorn is a common wetland invader that can form dense thickets and displace native species. We will cut and apply herbicide to the stumps thereby opening up habitat for native species to flourish. We will also cut and treat any multiflora rose or flag coundary that we encounter.
