Phalaris Control
Date/Time:
Saturday, June 14th, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Overview:
We will be spraying the aggressively spreading Phalaris (commonly known as reed canary grass) and putting it into submission. This plant spreads not only by seed but also by forming a thick system of underground stems. It threatens what is the only remaining community of its kind in Ohio. White Pine Bog is a designated National Natural Landmark - an area worth protecting. Register today to help us protect this precious natural treasure by working to control a threatening invasive species.
