Nature Conservancy's Eastern New York Chapter Announces Hike Schedule
The Eastern New York Chapter of The Nature Conservancy is pleased to offer the public the chance to explore some of the region’s hidden ecological gems
Mount Kisco, NY—May 1, 2006—The Eastern New York Chapter of The Nature Conservancy is pleased to offer the public the chance to explore some of the region’s hidden ecological gems! Beginning in mid-May and running through October, the Conservancy is hosting a series of hikes and paddles throughout the preserves and natural areas of southeastern New York. Explore the Great Swamp, learn about the Blanding’s turtle at Overlook Wetland, hike the Catskill Forest Preserve and more. A hike schedule is available by clicking here. These hikes are open to the public free of charge, but pre-registration is required.
