• The National Atmospheric Deposition Program has a page with several animated maps of deposition.  The maps show patterns of deposition across the U.S. between 1985 and 2003.

• In 2005, the New York State Health Department posted an expansive warning against eating a wide array of fish caught in the Catskills and Adirondacks.  The warning came after a growing number of lakes were found to have dangerously high mercury levels.
