• In 1990, the US passed the Clean Air Act Amendments, which made major changes to the Clean Air Act originally passed in 1970.

• In 2001, The Hubbard Brook Research Foundation published an important report titled Acid Rain Revisited.  This document is a guide to scientific advances since the passage of the 1970 and 1990 Clean Air Acts.
