"That time of year thou mayst in me behold / When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang / Upon those boughs which shake against the cold, / Bare ruined choirs, where late the sweet birds sang."
--William Shakespeare, Sonnet 73
The Nature Conservancy invites you to enjoy bird walks in New York City, led by naturalist Kellye Rosenheim. Experience the beauty of fall migration as our feathered friends fly south for winter.
Reservations are required. Please contact (212) 381-2194 or nycbirdwalks@tnc.org for reservations and cancellations.
We hope you will be able to join us for a day of birding!
Beginner's Workshop: Weds, Sept 9; 9:30 am, Loeb Boathouse. A 1 ½ hour workshop to get you ready for the fall migration. No question is too basic. Bring binoculars – they’re a must! We will learn how to use them and go over the rudiments of bird identification. All ages.
