Overview:
Come help give a hand pulling in a 300' haul seine and get a close up look at the creatures and plants that live under the sea! The bay’s still warm waters harbor many species of fish, crabs, and perhaps a stray diamondback terrapin. This demonstration of a traditional East End fishing method is appropriate for both children and adults; bring the whole family! Insect repellent suggested.

All programs require pre-registration. Call the Mashomack Preserve office at (631) 749-1001 for reservations, meeting place, and further information.
