Overview:
Who knew a weed would taste so good?! Come taste some delicious dishes which use garlic mustard. This invasive plant was originally introduced to the New World as an herb to spice up stews. Use your imagination and use this invader in a dish, then either share it with others or just come report on your successes and trade recipes. We’ve got sample recipes available. Hey, if you can’t beat ‘em, eat ‘em!!

Registration/Fee:
Reservations taken beginning April 1.

All programs require pre-registration.  Call the  Mashomack Preserve office at (631) 749-1001 for reservations, meeting place, and further information. Events are free to members of The Nature Conservancy, $4 for non-members, unless otherwise noted.
