Date/Time:
Saturday, August 12
9:00 am.

Overview:
Did you know that Mashomack has raised nearly two million shellfish in its creeks over the past five years? Join Mike Laspia, Preserve Director, for a hands-on look at the role Mashomack plays in the reintroduction of shellfish into the Peconic Bay system. View clams, oysters and scallops and find how their filtering abilities help stabilize the whole bay.

Registration/Fee:
All programs require pre-registration.  Call the Mashomack Preserve office at (631) 749-1001 for reservations, meeting place, and further information. Events are free to members of The Nature Conservancy, $4 for non-members, unless otherwise noted..
