A New Look at an Ancient Forest

Overview:
The Adirondacks harbor the single-largest extent of old-growth forests in the Northeast. Join Dr. Ken Adams, Professor of Ecology at Plattsburgh State University, on an excursion through a relatively undisturbed forest along the Ausable Club’s Gil Brook trail where some of the trees have been standing since the time of the American Revolution.
