Overview:
This companion field experience is designed for those who attended the January 29 Eldora Nights presentation on Nature in Winter. Take what you learned about nature's winter survival strategies and experience a chance to witness it firstand outdoors. Hike through the trails of Eldora Nature Preserve and search out evidence of the various adaptive methods employed by plants and animals as they struggle against the winter cold and ice.
