Overview:
Did you know that New Jersey's Monarchs migrate more than 2,000 miles to Mexico for the winter? What is the reason for the Monarch's black and orange coloration? Join Monarch butterfly specialist, Darlene Mounts/Feldman, for a presentation focusing on the amazing life cycle, natural history and migratory behavior of the Monarch butterfly.
We are hoping to have tagged Monarchs for release, so bring children of all ages to help build their knowledge of Monarch flight patterns.
