Poor Man's Pelagic (Scoping for Seabirds)

Date:
Friday, November 21, 2008

Time:
9:00 am - 11:00 am

Overview:
Roger Tory Peterson has said that the sea is the great frontier for those birders who have mastered the identification of land-based birds. Well...you don't have to be a master of land bird identification to appreciate the amazing adaptations of these maritime migrants. Join Delaware Bayshores program manager Brent Burke for a tour to catch a glimpse of the birds that have long captured the imagination and wonder of seafarers and landlubbers alike.

Guide:
Brent Burke, The Nature Conservancy.
