Time:
10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Overview:
Mashipacong Bogs is a secret treasure in New Jersey. Join Conservancy staff for an exploration through the preserve to discover the natural wonders of early summer, including dragonflies, breeding birds and flowers. The Nature Conservancy's ninth preserve in New Jersey, Mashipacong Bogs was established in December 1991 when Doris Duke donated 1,000 acres that included one of New Jersey's last remaining boreal forests. Only miles from the highest point in the state, Mashipacong Bogs Preserve is situated on the western side of the Kittatinny Ridge and borders High Point State Park and Stokes State Forest.
