The Nature Conservancy volunteer event on this National Day of Service and Remembrance was a great success. Nine volunteers came out to McCarran Ranch to help TNC staff plant sagebrush and four-wing saltbush in some rehabilitation areas. We were happy to have both repeat and new volunteers for this event and also to have a reporter from the Sparks Tribune come out to do a story on the event. The grill was fired up after the work was completed and burgers, salad and home-made cookies were enjoyed by everyone. A big Thank You to all who came out on this special volunteer day.
