Environmental Lecture Series to be Simulcast Statewide

The Nebraska Humanities Council will be presenting six lectures from September 2007 through April 2008 on the theme of “Changing Nature,” with speakers exploring a cross-section of subjects related to the science and politics of environmentalism.  With a grant from the Cooper Foundation, the 2007-08 E.N. Thompson Forum lectures on World Issues are going to be simulcast at five sites across Nebraska.

The lectures will be given at the Lied Center for Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and simulcast in Scottsbluff, North Platte, Kearney, Wayne and Omaha.
