Date:
Saturday, July 11th, 2009

Time:
9:30 am until noon

Overview:
Nebraska Conservancy staff will give guided tours of our newly established native prairie nature trails.  This lovely loop is home to regal fritillary butterflies, boblinks, and native plants at their flowering peak.

How to Prepare for the Hike:
Bring water, sturdy shoes, cameras and binoculars.  This walk will be held rain or shine, so wet weather gear might be helpful.

Registration/Fee:
This hike is free. Reservations are requested and may be made with Jill Wells at jwells@tnc.org or by calling (402) 342-0282 x 1002.

Meeting Location:
The Nature Conservancy's Derr House, 13650 South Platte River Drive, Wood River, Nebraska. Click for map.

Visitors are welcome year-round.  Self-guided tour brochures are available.  Learn more about the trail.
