"The Grizzly Bear Workshop was a great educational experience enhanced by that very special Dr. Chuck Jonkel and a team of knowledgeable naturalists. I loved hiking around many of those beautiful areas on the Front, watching for bears and learning about the local flora and fauna."
–J.R., Santa Ynez, CA
"I had such a fun and educational time during the Spring Bear Workshop that I volunteered to my local natural history museum to lead a group of museum members the next fall. After members heard about the cozy cabins, superb treats from the kitchen, stunning location along the front country of the Rockies and a naturalist staff that was extremely knowledgeable and fun, the museum trip sold out! That group agreed the whole "package" at Pine Butte was a top-notch learning experience—and some have even gone back again!"
"As one of the senior members of the group, I was touched by the sensitive accommodation to the fitness levels--no one was ever made to feel a drag on the pace of the group; instead all were included as an equally important member. The result was a harmonious, happy experience with more the feeling of a family group than strangers. Altogether a memorable vacation and an outstanding learning experience."
