Time:
Full day activities

Leaders:

Overview:
Indulge your passions for nature and photography with this extraordinary workshop.  We've paired up with the Photographers Alliance Workshops for what we believe is an unbeatable opportunity to hone your skills with some excellent instructors within a superb natural setting. The dramatic features of the Rocky Mountain Front are a feast for the eye.  Prairies, bursting with wildflowers, collide with the Rockies' sculptured reefs and towering peaks.  And it all unfolds beneath Montana's famous skies.

This time of year, wildlife are also on the move and a naturalist will be on hand during most of the field trips to help spot and discuss the ways and needs of the huge diversity of plants and animals that inhabit the Front.  Besides exploring the natural surroundings, we'll spend some time in nearby communities where participants can capture the images of a disappearing part of rural America.

Nature Conservancy Montana Pine Butte Guest Ranch photography natural history workshops educationThe Pine Butte Guest Ranch, our base of operations, provides not only cozy lodging and wonderful meals, but is, itself, a wonderful photographic subject.

The workshop will be limited to 12 people, but since the guest ranch can accomodate more, we can make arrangements for your friends or family to stay and enjoy the great ranch activities. while you're out with the camera!

Please note that PAW (the Photographers Alliance Workshops) will be booking this workshop. Please click here for details, photos, and booking information.
