Pine Butte Dining

Family style meals, served in the lodge dining room, feature healthful food presented with simple grace.  Each meal is a delicious event emphasizing garden-fresh produce and unrivaled homemade bread, soups and pastries.  We are able to accommodate special dietary requests.

Cookouts
Every Wednesday afternoon we set out for an outdoor steak fry cookout!  Guests either hike, ride, take a draft horse drawn wagon or ride in a comfortable van to the site.  Lee, our ranch manager, grills grass-fed beef steaks, locally made garlic sausages, or Veggie Burgers over an open fire.  Combine that with baked potatoes, baked beans, salads, homemade rolls, watermelon, Jumbles, and beer or wine and you have a supper to remember!
 
Friday morning is an outdoor breakfast cooked over an open fire.  Guests hike (transported across the river by horse), ride horseback or arrive by van to our beautiful cookout site.  Our menu includes locally produced bacon, eggs, blueberry buttermilk pancakes, fruit, juice, cocoa and of course our specialty, "Cowboy Coffee".
