Our Missouri Scientist Showcase is a series of guided conference call discussions with featured scientists about the Conservancy’s conservation efforts in Missouri and around the world. It’s a perfect way to spend your lunch break!

May 20th, 2010
12:15pm to 12:45pm CST:
Grand River Grasslands site manager Randy Arndt will present, "Bison and Fire: What a Native Prairie Needs."  During this conference call discussion, Randy will describe the Conservancy's plan to reintroduce bison onto the newly restored prairie, and will explain how this native species and fire interact to play a critical role in prairie management.
