Gex family sells land for conservation
The Gex family sold their 77.5-acre parcel of land to the Nature Conservancy. The land will be transferred to the Department of Marine Resources to become part of the Mississippi Coast Preserve Program. The mission of The Nature Conservancy is to preserve the plants, animal and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.
