Delta Program

With the recent addition of a Delta Program Manager, the Mississippi Chapter will be expanding conservation efforts in the Lower Yazoo River Basin. The position is funded for two years by the U.S. Forest Service and is located at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Joint Venture Office in Vicksburg. Daniel Sumerall began working for the Conservancy in July 2007 as the Program Manager and will focus on working with landowners to implement conservation practices.
