Date/Time:
Saturday, June 7, 2008
11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Overview:
Help reduce the impact of climate change by joining us for an afternoon of tree planting at the Sand Lake/Seven Beavers Preserve.

Forests are essential to the health and quality of life—they renew the air we breathe, provide food and fresh water and store carbon. About 4.6 billion people around the world depend on water supplies from forest systems.

You can help—just bring a garden shovel, rain gear and a lunch. We will provide beverages, snacks… and the trees!

Trip leaders:
Chris Dunham, Conservancy forest manager
Daryl Peterson, Conservancy field representative
