Overview:
If you’re looking for reasons to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather, come join us on a two hour family hike at the 165-acre Striar Conservancy. This lovely wooded preserve along the lower Winnetuxet
River includes rich wildlife habitats, meandering trails, footbridges crossing small springs, vernal pools, a floodplain forest, bogs and a lovely pond. Bring your camera to record the abundance of plants and wildlife in the area. The diverse habitat supports more than 90 species of birds as well as deer, fox and the locally uncommon river otter.
