Overview:
Join Nature Conservancy staff on a walk through the Drury Preserve in Sheffield. The Drury Preserve, the first Nature Conservancy preserve in the southern Berkshires, contains a three-mile loop through spectacular northern hardwoods with rich understory diversity, including fall flowering asters. Spot Mossy Cup Oak, Jack-in-the-Pulpit and Skunk Cabbage as well as numerous bird species. The walk will begin with a light breakfast. There are boardwalks over the wettest areas, but wearing waterproof shoes is a good idea. Please bring sunscreen, water and binoculars.
