A stately, mature forest on the Delmarva Peninsula

Older forests, such as Ranck Woods, are increasingly uncommon on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Visiting the Preserve
There is no public access to the preserve.

Maryland's Eastern Shore, about 2 hours east of Washington, DC.

  • habitat for Delmarva fox squirrel (federally endangered)
