Thanks to Pacers Events LLC for hosting this exciting race.

Join us to run for nature! The 2nd annual Earth Day 5K will be held on April 18th, 2010, in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.

Runners will sprint for spat to show their support of oyster restoration in the Chesapeake Bay!

Net proceeds raised at this event will help build an oyster sanctuary in the Chesapeake Bay. The goal? Raise $25,000 to plant 5 million baby oysters (called spat) in Maryland waters.
