Help Remove Invasive Shrubs

Location: McLean, VA. Turkey Run Park (20 minutes from DC)  10am-1pm

Come on out and help us cut invasive Linden viburnum and bush honeysuckle shrubs in the forest at Turkey Run. We'll take berries off mature plants to reduce regrowth. After cutting the plants with loppers and hand saws a Conservancy staffer paints the stumps with an herbicide to stop resprouting.

Meet at parking lot B--NOTE, we may shuttle the group to another location, so if you arrive late you may not be able to find us!
