CC Road Savanna Preserve

This preserve contains high quality longleaf pine savanna and an especially scenic series of ponds and beech magnolia forest. CC Road Savanna also supports the only known population of the endangered American chaffseed west of Georgia. This preserve is not open for public visitation.

What the Conservancy Has Done/Is Doing
The Nature Conservancy of Louisiana's ultimate goal is to create an ecologically sustainable forest management system. The Conservancy is also working to conserve the federally endangered American chaffseed plant.
