Taking Action on the Land

During April and May, staff from The Nature Conservancy of Kentucky and the Kentucky State Nature Preserves Commission completed soil injection treatment to more than 6,000 hemlock trees for the non-native insect pest Woolly Adelgid using pesticide donated by Bayer. Work took place on 194 acres at the Bad Branch State Nature Preserve.
