Lower Cedar Valley Project
The Nature Conservancy announced on June 25, 2009 that it received $100,000 from the Alliant Energy Foundation for its work within the Lower Cedar Valley in southeast Iowa. Campaign for Conservation
The Campaign for Conservation - Saving the Last Great Places in Iowa publically began raising funds in June 2006 with the goal of $9.5 million. Eighteen months later, the Conservancy announced that it has raised 18.1 million. Iowans said yes to conservation in a big way.
