Lower Cedar Valley Project

The Nature Conservancy announced on June 25, 2009 that it received $100,000 from the Alliant Energy Foundation for its work within the Lower Cedar Valley in southeast Iowa. The gift will advance the Conservancy's efforts to restore land within the region's floodplain. Read more about the Alliant Energy Foundation's donation to the Conservancy.

Campaign for Conservation

The Campaign for Conservation - Saving the Last Great Places in Iowa publically began raising funds in June 2006 with the goal of $9.5 million. Eighteen months later, the Conservancy announced that it has raised 18.1 million. Iowans said yes to conservation in a big way.
