To mark the 50th anniversary of The Nature Conservancy’s Indiana Chapter, we are calling on members across the state to submit their stories about how their interactions with nature have affected their lives. As members you’ve been listening to us tell you where we’ve been working, what we’ve been doing, and why we’ve been doing it. Now it’s your turn to tell us your story.

Do you remember the first time you visited one of your favorite places? Was it a state park, a state nature preserve, or a Conservancy area? Do you remember your first nature hike? Is there a place or a person that inspired you to become more involved with conservation? How have your experiences with nature changed your life? We want to know.

The stories and any pictures or original artwork you send to us may be featured in upcoming newsletters and on our website throughout 2009. Please email us your submissions at story@tnc.org.
