Kankakee Sands Tour

St. Anne Township
October 6, 2007

The Kankakee Sands area harbors some of the finest oak savannas remaining in the United States, offering rich habitat for birds and small animals. Working with partners in Illinois and Indiana, the Conservancy has helped to protect more than 23,000 acres.

Join staff from The Nature Conservancy in Illinois for a tour of this unique landscape.

Complete tour details will be posted closer to the event date. For the latest information about events and field trips sign-up for our e-newsletter, Great Places.
