Places We Protect

From coastal sand dunes and coral reef canyons to lush mountain rain forests teeming with life, the Conservancy safeguards the best of the spectacular natural diversity of Hawai’i and Palmyra Atoll.

The Conservancy and our partners have protected almost 200,000 acres of natural lands in Hawai'i and Palmyra. These acres include 10 Conservancy-owned and managed preserves that provide vital habitat for threatened native species. We also collaborate with others to protect the larger ecosystems of which our preserves are a part.
