Corporate Council for
the Environment

The support of more than 60 corporations and businesses throughout Georgia has been vital to the continued success of The Nature Conservancy’s mission.

Forming the Corporate Council for the Environment, these entities are demonstrating that economic growth and conservation can co-exist to support a sustainable future in which all Georgians will benefit.

Each spring, The Nature Conservancy honors the members of the Corporate Council for the Environment at The Nature of Business breakfast, hosted by one of Georgia’s premier corporate leaders. In 2007, Bernie Marcus, co-founder of Home Depot and visionary of the Georgia Aquarium, gave the keynote address, and Deloitte sponsored the event.

To learn how your business can become a member of the Council and support conservation in Georgia and beyond, contact Amanda Armington at (404) 253-7209 or aarmington@tnc.org.
