Nature Conservancy Statement on Funding for Florida Forever

STATEMENT OF JEFF DANTER, STATE DIRECTOR

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLORIDA — January 27, 2009 — ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL – The Nature Conservancy’s Florida State Director Jeff Danter issued the following statement regarding funding for Florida Forever: 

"By reinstating Florida Forever funding for this year, Governor Crist has demonstrated his deep commitment to Florida's environment and the importance of sustaining Florida Forever," said Jeff Danter, state director of The Nature Conservancy's Florida Chapter. “The Nature Conservancy remains dedicated to working closely with Governor Crist, and with the leaders of the State Senate and House, to make Florida Forever a success today and long into the future.”
