Sunny Spring days and enthusiastic volunteers made it possible for the Conservancy to plant more than 1,000 white oak saplings at the Milford Neck Preserve.

The Conservancy bestowed its annual Conservation Award upon two individuals and one organization for achievements benefiting Delaware’s local lands and waters.

John Flynn has climbed the corporate ladder and more recently, a few mountain peaks – accomplishments that make him a valued member of the Delaware chapter’s Board of Trustees.

Save the date!
The 2009 Dogfish Dash 10K/5K race to benefit the Conservancy’s work in Delaware will take place September 27th near the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton.

The Conservancy celebrated Earth Day at “Go Green Night” with the Wilmington Blue Rocks baseball team. Two dollars from every ticket purchase went towards conserving Delaware’s natural treasures.
