Partners in Conservation

 

Sussex County Council pledged $58,325 
The Sussex County Council pledged $58,325 towards the purchase of 25 acres of farmland and forest adjacent to the Conservancy’s 440-acre Middleford North Preserve, ensuring the protection of unspoiled lands along the Nanticoke River’s Gravelly Branch. The donation came at the recommendation of the Sussex County Land Trust, which advises the County on preservation efforts.
